G.V.G.V. Collection
2012 Spring Summer

“In The Spirt of Miami Beach”
The theme is pin-up girls in present-day. Using pastel colors to add 50’s vibes of Miami, the details of typical 50's items such as bustier and bowling shirt are minimized and sharpened. The iconic gears like saddle shoes and cat eye sunglasses accentuate modern pin-up woman. Pants suits and leather items, which are G.V.G.V's standards are colored in pastel tones. The palm tree prints that can be seen in the 50’s pinups give an exotic mood to the collection.

2011 Autumn Winter

“YOUTH CULT”
The girl who was traveling all around the world in the theme of 2011S/S collection “WANDERLUST” goes back to British school.  This season’s collection is a sequel to the previous.  Traditional items, beauty, and slight insanity of youth culture reflecting feelings of
the times or their own personalities are in G.V.G.V. college style. British basics, materials such as checks, pleats, and tweed are freshly mixed with leather or military style.  Standard items such as stadium jackets and duffel coats are mixed with different material to create an expression. The mouton jacket is collaboration with BLACK MEANS.

2011 Spring Summer

“WANDERLUST”
1960's America. A hippie movement of the music and festivals culture represented by  the "summer of love"  which fused music and fashion is the inspiration for this collection.

Image of a girl taking trips to those music festivals, a mixture of elements of ethnicity from India, Morocco and Russia etc., creates feeling of unknown origins of an exotic atmosphere.  Natural material such as linen, silk, cotton, and leather are used fully to express a dusty summer.

For the first time, G.V.G.V. introduces shoe collaboration with British brand "George Cox".  The two types of shoes, Rubber sole and lace up boots, are usually popular with men but we propose to coordinate with long skirt and dress as women items. .
